So...My beloved, her sister, and I met up with some friends at the local Bunnie's. A restaurant/sports-bar here in the TC.
Now I understand that it was a football weekend so it was crowded to capacity. What I don't understand is why the floor's always dirty. I feel the need to wash my jacket every time I leave there since I always hang it on the back of my chair. But that's not the worst of it.
The worst is the flippin' NOISE! And not just from the patrons. It's the dozen or so flatscreens constantly running, the blairing jukebox turned even louder to compete with the tv's, and the crappy wait-staff.
I dearly wish someone would invent a juke-b-gone. They've a tv-b-gone and I'm definately getting one of those.
I think we were there about 3 hours, but by the time we finished our meals all we wanted to do was go home and wall ourselves up in our rooms and sit in the quiet.
Bunnies has decent food but I'd be more than happy to steer clear of them just to avoid the noise. Folks when you go out to eat you expect to be in a semi-relaxed atmosphere where you can digest food and keep a conversation. The last thing anyone with half a brain wants is to have to shout to be heard over the screams of unruly children, blairing tv's and squaking jukes.
